In modern Turkey, coffee is a core part of daily life and culture. To produce genuine Turkish coffee, the brewing process requires a controlled heat source that creates a layer of foam. The intricate process had a long tradition of hand made production, and one of our clients needed an automated solution. Capturing the unique heat sourcing was a considerable engineering challenge, since we wanted to ensure the very best quality Turkish coffee that met hand-made standards. With a focus on detail, our leading engineers from our Robot team designed a complex process to replicate Turkish coffee brewing. The result was an iF Best Design award, and an automated, genuine cup of Turkish coffee which we are proud to brew.
