Our clients at Sykes Hollow Innovation had a vision for producing an outdoor water hose to function in sub-freezing temperatures. When it came to finding a reliable manufacturing partner, Sykes Hollow turned to Pacific Access to bring their concept from vision into production. The challenge of finding material to function in an environment with freezing temperatures and heat application required creative thinking. By putting safety first, our team had to find a way to ensure the electricity and water wouldn’t interact, while ensuring proper operation of the heated hose. After extensive testing and modeling, our engineers delivered the Pirit heated hose ahead of schedule and on a scale that helped our client deliver the product to market profitably.
