	The Client The commercial vehicle manufacturing arm of one of the world's leading carmakers.
	The Challenge The client was sourcing a wide range of components with varying production lead times from different provinces in China. The challenge was to ensure all the items arrives at the client's manufacturing facilities at the same time, to maximize production efficiency.
	Our Solution Pacific Access' expertise in SCM, helped devised a system for monitoring and controlling the manufacturing schedule of each component. This allowed us to draw up an efficient shipment schedule. Components from different parts of China were then collected in one place and sent to the client via multiple shipments each week.
	The Outcome The customer saved money, time and improved the efficiency of the manufacturing process.
